The Door Prize Team

The Door Prize is focused on painting and it is run entirely by enthusiastic volunteers.  The project is constantly searching for new collaborations with creative writers, designers and like minded groups.  Opportunities to join The Door Prize team are located under Vacancies.  There are no restrictions as to who can join the team.

Director
Antria Pelekanou is a recent MA Fine Art graduate of the University of East London, she also has a BA (HONS) Fine Art Degree from the University of the West of England in Bristol.  After curating contemporary art exhibitions at The Lloyd Gill Gallery in Weston-Super-Mare in 2009, Antria moved on to realise her ambition of devising an itinerant art show  A Moving Exhibition. The project displayed the work of 70 contemporary artists across six London galleries, from March to June 2010.  Following the success of A Moving Exhibition, Pelekanou has co-directed Persona Art Festival which was a unique opportunity for innovative and emerging artists to exhibit their work in a major contemporary art show in London in May 2011.
